- Having completed the painting program at The Florence Academy of Art, with its roots in the humanist spirit, I have a strong connection to the traditional approach to realism the school imparted. Careful observation of nature and working directly from life using only natural light are the keystones of my work. I want to capture in every painting the subtle changes in light, color and atmosphere as honestly and as lively as I can. I am indebted to the work of the old masters, in particular Jean-Baptiste-Siméon Chardin and the 19th century painter Emil Carlsen.

It would probably take me too long to try to paint the fog, but it seems like a perfect subject for your photography.
